Bridgehampton
Bridgehampton is a central hub for the Hamptons, not only because of its prime location on the South Fork, but because it has a vibrant Main Street, world-class equestrian events, and to this day, a flourishing farming industry.
Historic hamlet with a vibrant downtown
From quaint inns and museums that celebrate the South Fork to roadside farm stands and fine dining, Bridgehampton has truly built on its history as a potato farming community. It is home to polo matches on summer weekends and the world-class Hampton Classic horse show just before Labor Day. There are also plenty of shopping options, including a mix of small boutiques along Main Street and the Bridgehampton Commons just west of downtown.
Elegant Victorians and grand modern mansions
Modern estates dot the magnificent beachfront in Bridgehampton, where millionaires and billionaires hold sway, but the hamlet maintains its Victorian-style roots close to the downtown core. Traditional shingle-style houses can be found along Bridgehampton’s leafy lanes, where prices for simple single-family homes start at $1 million. New development homes south of the highway can command eight figures.
